Thank you for checking out my view of the world! There are two things that give my life meaning, photography and people (especially the little ones.) I started working on my passion/talent for photography when I was very small, but it wasn’t until I went to school at the Art Institute of Seattle that I really found my niche. I found that I love to photograph people: whether it’s outdoors, in their homes, or in a place that has meaning to them. I have realized that the world is a big place and there are so many areas to see and explore. Why open a studio with plain background options?

As a photographer I focus on the moments that happen spontaneously, where true character can be captured within the moment. My philosophy is to let the subject speak for itself and photograph what comes naturally. In my photography I strive for fresh, quirky, and genuine images while keeping an artistic edge.

I graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle in September of 2005 and received an award for Best Portfolio. After graduating I spent some time in Seattle learning more about photography by assisting some of the best photographers in the area. I then moved to Salt Lake City where I gained a unique perspective and continued assisting. Since moving back to the Northwest my appreciation for the scenery and culture has been rekindled. I’ve gained a new respect for life here and want to stay in Washington to capture its beauty on film (or pixels).
